Why Use an Edge Guard Tape?
Pickleball paddle edges are the most vulnerable part of your equipment. Every time your paddle grazes the court surface or bumps another paddle, the edge takes the hit. This TPU protective strip acts as a durable buffer, absorbing those impacts so your paddle's core and face remain intact longer. Think of it as a phone case for your favourite paddle — a small investment that prevents costly damage.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What material is this pickleball paddle edge guard tape made from?
A: The edge guard strip is made from high-quality TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane), which offers excellent flexibility, impact resistance, and durability. TPU is widely used in sports protective accessories due to its toughness and ability to absorb impacts without cracking or peeling.
Q: Will this edge guard tape fit my pickleball paddle?
A: Yes! The strip measures 750 × 28 mm (approx. 29.53 × 1.10 in), making it long and wide enough to cover the full perimeter edge of most standard pickleball paddles — graphite, composite, or wood. It is suitable for all skill levels from beginner to competitive play.
Q: Is this edge guard tape easy to apply?
A: Absolutely. The self-adhesive backing makes installation straightforward — simply clean your paddle's edge, peel the protective backing off the tape, and press it firmly along the paddle's perimeter. No additional tools, glue, or expertise required.
Q: Will the edge tape affect my paddle's performance or weight?
A: No. The tape is ultra-thin and lightweight, so it will not noticeably affect the swing weight, balance, or playing feel of your pickleball paddle. You get full edge protection without any compromise to your on-court performance.
