It operates without any battery or power source, making it maintenance-free and always ready for use.

Q: How do I read the humidity level on this model?

A: This particular model is a rear-read hygrometer, meaning you view the humidity dial from the back of the gauge. This design is ideal for humidors where the gauge is mounted flush with the wall and readable from inside.

Q: Can this hygrometer be recalibrated?

A: Analog mechanical hygrometers of this type typically allow for minor adjustment. If you notice a consistent offset in readings, you can compare it against a known reference and gently adjust the set screw (if present) to bring the needle into alignment.

{"@context": "https://schema.org", "@type": "FAQPage", "mainEntity": [{"@type": "Question", "name": "Will this 28mm hygrometer fit my humidor?", "acceptedAnswer": {"@type": "Answer", "text": "Yes — this hygrometer is designed specifically for standard 28mm pre-bored holes found in most cigars humidors.
