Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does the trip wire perimeter alarm cord work on its own, or do I need extra components?

A: The trip wire cord is a standalone 25-metre line designed to be used as part of a perimeter alert setup. It is compatible with standard trip wire alarm triggers (sold separately). The cord itself does not include an electronic alarm unit — you simply run the line around your campsite or perimeter and connect it to your preferred trigger mechanism.

Q: Is this trip wire suitable for use in wet or rainy outdoor conditions?

A: Yes. The weatherproof design is intended for outdoor use in varied conditions including rain and wind. The durable cord material maintains its tensile strength and does not degrade quickly when exposed to moisture, making it reliable for camping, hiking, and survival situations in all weather.

Q: Can the trip wire be reused across multiple camping trips?

A: Absolutely. The cord is engineered for reuse — the easy-wind spool allows you to quickly pack it away after each use without tangling. Simply reel it back onto the spool and it's ready for your next outdoor adventure.
