XD-35 Thermoelectric Peltier Cooling Kit — Compact DIY Cooling Module

Build your own mini cooler, chilled enclosure, or temperature-control system with the XD-35 Thermoelectric Peltier Cooling Module. This pre-assembled semiconductor cooling kit combines a Peltier plate, dual aluminum heat sinks, cooling fans, fan guards, and pre-wired power leads — everything you need to get your DIY cooling project up and running quickly.

Made in Mainland China.

How Thermoelectric Cooling Works

The Peltier plate has two distinct sides:

  • Cold Side: Absorbs heat from the enclosed space or object you want to cool.
  • Hot Side: Transfers the absorbed heat outward through the aluminum heat sink and cooling fan.

For best performance, mount the cold side inside your insulated enclosure and keep the hot side outside with unobstructed airflow.

Key Features

✔ Integrated, Pre-Assembled Structure

The XD-35 arrives ready to install, combining all essential components in one compact assembly:

  • Thermoelectric Peltier plate
  • Aluminum heat sinks (hot side & cold side)
  • Dual cooling fans with protective metal fan guards
  • Thermal insulation layer
  • Red (+) and black (−) power leads

✔ Aluminum Heat Sinks for Efficient Heat Dissipation

Large-fin aluminum heat sinks maximize the surface area for heat transfer, helping the module maintain stable operating temperatures. Always ensure the hot-side heat sink has adequate ventilation.

✔ Dual-Fan Airflow Design

Fans on both sides of the module drive airflow through the heat sinks, while the metal fan guards protect the blades from accidental contact during operation.

✔ Compact & Space-Saving

Designed to fit within insulated boxes, small cabinets, and custom DIY enclosures where space is at a premium.

✔ Simple Power Wiring

The red (positive) and black (negative) wire leads make connection straightforward. Always verify the correct voltage, current, and polarity with your DC power supply before first use.

Recommended Applications

  • DIY mini cooler boxes and beverage chillers
  • Small insulated storage containers
  • Electronic equipment enclosures and instrument cabinets
  • Semiconductor cooling experiments and lab demonstrations
  • Custom temperature-control systems
  • Small-space climate-controlled enclosures

Note: This module is designed for small-space cooling projects only — it is not intended to cool an entire room.

Installation Steps

  1. Identify the cold side and hot side before mounting.
  2. Orient the cold side toward the area to be cooled.
  3. Position the hot-side heat sink outside the insulated space.
  4. Ensure both fans have sufficient clearance for ventilation.
  5. Connect the red (+) and black (−) wires with correct polarity.
  6. Use a compatible DC power supply with adequate current output.
  7. Seal insulation around the installation opening to minimize cold-air loss.
  8. Test the module before completing the final installation.

Cooling Performance Tips

  • Use a well-insulated enclosure for best results.
  • Minimize air gaps around the mounting area.
  • Keep the hot-side fan completely unobstructed.
  • Never place the hot-side heat sink inside the cooled space.
  • Use a stable, regulated DC power supply.
  • Reduce internal heat sources within the enclosure.
  • Consider adding a thermostat for automatic temperature control.

Actual cooling performance depends on ambient temperature, enclosure size, insulation quality, heat load, airflow, and power-supply performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What power supply does the XD-35 Peltier cooling module require?

A: The XD-35 requires a DC power supply. Always check the module's voltage and current specifications before connecting to any power source. Using a regulated, stable DC power supply with sufficient current output is strongly recommended for safe and reliable operation. The power supply is not included with the module.

Q: What size enclosure is suitable for the XD-35 thermoelectric cooling kit?

A: The XD-35 is designed for small insulated spaces — such as DIY cooler boxes, small cabinets, or custom enclosures. The exact cooling capacity depends on enclosure size, insulation quality, ambient temperature, and heat load. For best results, use a well-insulated, compact enclosure and minimize internal heat sources.

Q: Can the XD-35 Peltier module be used for electronics cooling or laboratory experiments?

A: Yes. The XD-35 thermoelectric cooling module is suitable for cooling electronic equipment enclosures, semiconductor cooling experiments, and laboratory demonstration projects in addition to DIY mini cooler builds. Basic electrical knowledge is recommended for safe installation and operation.
